A new year and a new look

I’ve been thinking about how to clean up my blog page, to make it more interesting and easier to read. Today I made the leap to a new theme. WordPress has a terrific selection of templates with a lot of flexible widgets and other things to customize your look. Going through the switch has given me some exciting ideas about what I’d like to do with Book Club Mom this year.

I was a little worried about what would happen when I applied the new theme to my existing blog. I wasn’t sure if everything would fit right and that I’d be able to recreate the menus and figure out how to add my Twitter feed to the sidebar, but it all went well.

My new theme is Penscratch. I hope you like it!
