Bio: J.R. Rogers is a novelist of historical thrillers, foreign intrigue, and espionage. He has written five novels and also a collection of short stories. A sixth novel, Nazilager, is underway.

He holds a B.A. in French Literature and studied short story writing at UC Irvine Extension. A number of his stories have been published in various literary and online publications.

Besides writing fiction his interests include art, culture, indie film, photography & world travel.

He has lived in Europe and Africa and now lives in southern California.   

Favorite thing about being a writer: Immersing myself in other worlds

Biggest challenge as an indie author: Self-promotion and securing reviews from readers

Favorite book: The Sheltering Sky – Paul Bowles
