Author name: Heather Walsh

Genre: Contemporary Fiction

Books: Dented Cans and The Drake Equation

Bio: Heather Walsh grew up in North Haven, CT, fantastically close to Pepe’s pizza. Her favorite writer is Alice Munro, her favorite movie is The Godfather Parts I & II (tied for first), and her favorite TV show is The Wire. She currently lives in Brookline, MA with her husband and two children. Her two novels, Dented Cans and The Drake Equation, have sold over 8,000 copies.

Favorite thing about being a writer: When a character does something unexpected as I write. It sometimes feels as if the character is in control and not me. Doesn’t happen often, but I love it when it does.

Biggest challenge as an indie author: Attracting new readers as more and more novels are published every year! Good for readers and tough for authors.

Favorite book: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
