Author name: Brittney Sahin

Genre: Romance, Suspense

Books: Silenced Memories, Book 1 in the Marine Special Forces Series. Book 2 (still untitled) will be out in 3-4 months! All books are stand-alone novels.  In Silenced Memories, Sahin’s male protagonist is an American veteran who created a business initiative for veterans- investing in small businesses to support their entrepreneurial endeavors.

Bio: I am a former high school history teacher, and now a full-time writer and mother. I am about to have my 2nd boy this November! I love all genres of books, but my favorite is romance suspense. I love traveling the world, hiking, reading—and of course, spending time with my family.

Favorite thing about being a writer: Creating a world where anything can happen – especially Happily Ever Afters 🙂

Biggest challenge as an indie author: Getting your book in front of readers

Favorite book: This might sound crazy as a romance writer- but The Shining by Stephen King. I read it when I was 13, and it inspired me to be a writer!
