Blog name: Squirrels in the Doohickey

Type of blog: humor

Where in the world?  USA

Blogging since when? 2013

Whats your story? I had a daily habit of freewriting, and at some point I thought it made sense to put some of the better pieces into some kind of format that people might read. I showed three of them to a writer friend, who said something along the lines of, “Publish them on a blog. Your family and friends will probably be your only readers, but do it for fun until it’s no longer fun.” She suggested the name, Squirrels in the Doohickey, based on one of the pieces.

What types of blogs do you follow? humor

Early bird or night owl? Good question. Goooooood question. If I’m on top of things, I’ll freewrite every morning before work, find the best of the bunch, and rewrite/edit it on the weekend. The reality is, I bang something out on Thursday evening, rewrite it on Saturday, edit and post it on Sunday.

Coffee or tea? Tea. Herbal.

Most recent binge watch or other obsession: I’ve been obsessed with reading Young Adult fiction lately. There are some wonderful YA authors, and I’m noodling a novel rewrite that’s in that genre.
