Talking about books is just as fun as reading them. Choosing the next one is lots of fun too. And lists are a great way to get things started. Today I’m between books, but I’m looking forward to picking something new soon! I’ve added a page to show my running list of books read in 2017. Check it out up top or click on the link below.
Thanks for visiting – come back soon!
Loved “my grandmother said to tell you sees sorry” thought I’ve butchered the correct title. Thought that was beautiful, and plan on reading its sequel this summer. Also loved Ove.
Impressive list! I’m stealing it 🙂
I couldn’t comment over there, but I think my fav book of 2017 so far has been Trevor Noah’s book “Born a Crime.” I listened to the audiobook, which only heightened its goodness. He’s an incredible narrator. Now, every audiobook I’ve listened to since (which I do on long drives) pales in narration compared to his!
I am a big fan of Michael Connolly and love to keep up with Harry Bosch.😊
I love the anticipation of choosing the next book – good luck with finding the perfect one! Thank you for reminding me of A Spool of Blue Thread. I haven’t read that one yet and will have to get to it somehow!
Just finished “Anything is Possible by Elizabeth Strout. Similar to the author’s novel “Olive Kitteridge” in that the book is basically a series of short stories with all the characters interwoven thru each story. Ms. Strout is an incredible writer in that each character is so clearly defined in give or take 30 pages. I did not want it to end.
