Today is World Mental Health Day, observed with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health.

You can learn more from the World Health Organization here and about past World Mental Health Days here.

In addition, the World Health Organization will host, for the first time ever, a global online advocacy event on mental health. World leaders, mental health experts and celebrity guests will join WHO Director-General, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, to tell the world what we can all do to improve our mental health and how we can help make sure that quality mental health care is available to everyone who needs it.   1. If there was ever a time to pay attention to our mental health, it’s this year.

    Today a writers’ group I’m a member of featured an author suffering from PTSD. He remarked that writing (and reading) has been his path toward healing, a good thing. So, Barbara, you are contributing here to your readers’ improved mental outlook. 🙂

      1. There is a free version and a paid version. After using the app for a couple years I upgraded to the premium service because it is so good and I want to support the company and the teachers. I look forward to hearing how you like it.
