  1. I love those old knitting books. My mom knitted a lot too and had similar pattern books. None with Roger Moore though. She knotted some very nice things for me and later for my daughter. I never learned to knit as mom was left-handed and I’m not so I couldn’t learn from her.

    1. Oh that’s interesting, Darlene. I wish I had learned how to put the stitches on so I could get started again. But I’m sure that’s something I could watch a YouTube video about 😉 Thank you so much for watching. I truly appreciate it.

  2. Wow! What a blast. I couldn’t see it at first, but that’s definitely him. We have a bunch of old crochet and knitting books because I do both, but I haven’t tried any of the old designs. They’re fun to look at though. Love your shirt, Barbara. 😉

    1. Hi Mischenko – isn’t that funny to see Roger Moore in those knitting books? I’m definitely hanging on to them. Thanks so much for watching my video. I’m having fun with the t-shirts 🙂 Hope you are doing well!

    1. Hi Bette – I definitely didn’t. I wonder if people recognized him in these when they came out. Thank you so much for watching my video – I very much appreciate it!

  3. What fun! I started knitting in the 60’s and made a tennis sweater for my father from one of the patterns in a pattern book like those!

    1. Oh, tennis sweaters! Those were the best. I had a hand-me-down one that someone made years ago. And my grandmother knitted a tennis sweater for my Ken doll (still have that!). Thanks for watching, Noelle!

  4. Wow, Barbara, some of those poses are a riot! I have about as much experience with knitting as you do, although I did have a spell of cross-stitching in my twenties. Fun video!

    1. Hi Jennifer – aren’t they crazy poses? I can’t tell you how hard my work friend and I laughed at them! Thanks so much for watching my video 🙂

Tell me what you're thinking!
