What fun! Good to see you live!
Oh thank you!
I love this! Blind dates with books are so so good. Lovely to see you again!
Thank you, Charley! I had fun and I credit my co-workers with making it happen – it was a lot of work!
Definitely. There’s so much that’s gone on behind the scenes there!
That was fun. The suspense was killing me!
Oh thank you so much! 🙂
You did a good job. Nice video. Clever idea.
Thank you, Douglas! I don’t take credit for the idea, but I wanted to share it because I thought it was ver clever!
Great idea, Barbara. Thanks for the video. i have not read The Breakdown but let us know about it
Hi John, I hadn’t heard of it either, but it sounds good (I like psychological thrillers). Thank you for watching 🙂
My pleasure.
When you shared the idea on Twitter a week or so ago, I was excited to hear more about it. If I were still in the dating world, I’d rather take my chances with a book! Great video, Barbara!
Ah yes, me too! Fewer risks, for sure! Thank you, Jill, for watching and supporting the library Twitter! 😀
‘Blind date with a book’ is such a fun idea. Great video!
Thank you, Donna! I had fun unwrapping the book 🙂
What a great idea! I was admiring the book shelf behind you and wondering if it’s a built-in (I was on my phone so I couldn’t tell on my little screen). I’m trying to get built-ins organised for our flex room. Nice to see you again. 🙂
Hi Lynette! Actually it’s a wall tapestry because the decor in our basement is pretty bad, so I’m using it to cover up the battered wall (4 boys running wild down there for many years)! You’re not the first to think it’s real books. We used to have built-ins in our old house and I loved them. Such a nice feature to a room. Thank you for watching 🙂
I like your experimental approach to recording fun videos. Also, the staff at your library are so very creative. I met my husband of 55 years on a blind date, so I’d definitely take the same risk with a book. Yay, Barbara1
Blind dates add to the excitement 😉
Both entertaining and intriguing. I hope the book lives up to expectations
Thank you, Derrick! I appreciate you watching 🙂
This is a fun activity! I hope you enjoy the book.
Thank you, Darlene! It looks like a good one. I’ll have to tell my work friend that I picked the book she recommended 🙂
Blind Date with a Book. Wow what a great idea. You and your librarians are creative.
Thank you, Grace! I credit my coworkers with this idea. I enjoyed it very much too! Thanks for the visit 🙂
What a fun idea!
That was fun, Barbara. I bet you’ll enjoy the book. 🙂
Awesome! I’ve just added that book to my list because it sounds intriguing, but also because I enjoyed Behind Closed Doors. Thanks, Barb!
