I look forward to your review. I haven’t read it yet.
Thanks, Darlene!
I loved this book very much, especially after getting a bit into it
Oh I’m so glad to hear!
Yes, & I absolutely loved it!
That’s great! I remember you recommended it at the library – it’s such a popular book, I haven’t been able to get it on the Staff Picks shelf. Thanks for stopping by!
I have not. I’ve struggled to get into her books, but perhaps I’ll give them another go…
Hi Alethea – I’ve loved her fiction. Not so sure about here essays here – I’ll post a review soon. I enjoyed learning more about her and I’m waiting until after my book club meets. Thank you for reading and commenting 🙂
Haven’t read it and would value your opinion.
Coming soon! Waiting until after my book club meets on Sunday! Thanks, Noelle 🙂
No, I haven’t, but I look forward to reading your thoughts about it.
Thanks, Debra! I’ll post a review in the next few days. 😊
No yet! I hope you do a review. 🙂
I will soon! I’m waiting until after my book club meets 😉Thanks, Lynette!
You know I won’t have, but I will enjoy seeing what you have to say
Hm… my husband read her Bel Canto and was not impressed, and told me not to bother reading it. Since he wasn’t very critical of books in general, I decided she’s not an author for me.
That said, I hope you love it!
We can’t all like everything and that’s what makes our blogs interesting! Thanks, Davida!
Hi Davida – I actually loved Bel Canto but I understand. You have to go with what you like. Thanks for stopping by!
Anne Patchet is a favorite. I can’t wait to read your review.
Hi Bernadette – I’ve loved many of her books. I just finished These Precious Days and will review it soon – after my book club meets. Thanks for stopping by to read and comment!
Judging from the review the NYT published about this book, I think you’ll enjoy it. 🙂
I did, though not all the essays. Many were very interesting and thought-provoking. Thanks, TIm!
I’ve read several books by Ann Patchett but not the title you mentioned here. I liked The Getaway Car and The Story of a Happy Marriage, a book of essays on writing and life (memoir). I didn’t like Bel Canto either–ha!
Oh that’s interesting! I finished it and will review it after my book club meets. For the record, I loved Bel Canto even though you and Davida didn’t 😉
Happy Reading, Barb. 😀
Thanks, Diana! 😊
It’s a wonderful book! I think you’ll love it.
Yes, I’ve finished reading it and my book club meets on Sunday. Thanks, Ann!
I haven’t read this but look forward to your review. Happy reading!
Thanks, Donna. My book club is going to discuss it on Sunday and I’ll post my review after that. Hope you’re enjoying a nice weekend!
